QSI Decoder Fan
Our 3.5CFM miniature fan can be used to reduce heating problems. The convenient size format 30 X 30 X 6 mm (1.18 X 1.18 X 0.24 in) will work in S, O, G and some wide body HO scales. The fan comes with 28 AWG 135mm (5.3”) power leads.
The power requirements are as follows:
- 5 VDC
- 0.120 Amps
- 0.6 W
Some of the larger scale decoders include a 5 VDC output or you can use dropping resistors as follows:
