Instructions Included with OEM Locos
These instructions were furnished by QSI to the OEMs to incorporate in the OEM's instruction manuals that were included with each specific loco. They are listed here for user reference. We will soon be posting updated versions reflecting changes for the Upgrade Software, Q1a.
Original Quantum 1 Diesel Manuals
These are the two Quantum 1 diesel manuals that were used by the OEM's for their instruction sheets. One manual is for diesels with volume pots and the other is for diesels with magnetic wands and reed switches. The front cover of these manuals refer to "Quantum 1" rather than "Quantum" to distinguish this software from "Q1a" or "Q2" (Quantum Revolution). These manuals have been upgraded for recent changes in software which is designated as Q1R for "Q1 Revised" in the file name. The M in the file name stands for "Magnetic Wand" version and the P for "Potentiometer" version. These are not manuals for "Q1a" upgrade chips.
