As a result of numerous requests by users we are posting this email response form for you to choose specific options for your QSI equipped locos from Atlas, BLI, Life-Like Walthers, Intermountain and others.
Many railroads used the same locomotives but often customized their horns, bells, etc to suit their tastes. For example, most F7s had a single chime Wabco but some railroads used multi-chime horns like the Nathan P3 or the Leslie S3.
The form below will give you the opportunity to choose the diesel horn options you want. Submitting the request does not necessarily mean that we will be able to provide exactly what you want when you want but we will log all the requsts and develop the software when there is sufficient demand.
If you have already purchased an Upgrade Chip you can reprogram future options with the Quantum Programmer coming in September. The Quantum Programmer and the Upgrade Chip do not provide for user customization of individual sound sets.
You can listen to and review all the horn options here. You can choose any horn from any loco.
Here is how to use the form:
Start with the basic software ID (Model #), i.e. ho101-0 Broadway SW7/NW2 Switcher, and then request the alternate horn you want by specifying the basic software ID (Model #) of the horn you want to substitute, i.e. substitute horn from ho100-0 Broadway E7.
